Biography

Short

Lazyknife creates dark and emotional music where gothic meets industrial and metal intensity. After moving to Sweden in 2023, the solitude of forests, frozen lakes and long winters became part of the journey, shaping both strength and sound. Inspired by the melancholic beauty of HIM, the gloom of The 69 Eyes, the raw energy of Korn and the introspective space of Pink Floyd, Lazyknife turns silence and scars into songs. This is music for those who feel too much and say too little, for those who know the dark can be sacred.

Full

Lazyknife makes dark, emotional music where gothic meets industrial and the shadows speak. Distorted guitars, atmospheric synths and a voice that shifts between whisper and howl shape a sound that is both heavy and vulnerable.

In 2023 Lazyknife began again in the solitude of Sweden. Surrounded by forests, frozen lakes and long winters, I discovered parts of myself I did not know were there. The raw landscape forced me into silence and endurance, teaching me resilience and uncovering a deeper strength. Living here became its own form of shadow work, stripping away illusions and showing me who I really am.

Musically, Lazyknife is inspired by the melancholic beauty of HIM, the gloom of The 69 Eyes, the raw intensity of Korn and the introspection of Pink Floyd. Yet beyond those influences, it is shaped by a gothic sense of nature itself: the roots in the earth, the cold air, the solitude that holds a mirror to the soul.

Through sound, silence and scars, Lazyknife becomes a path toward wholeness and an invitation to find beauty in the dark. This is music for those who feel too much and say too little, for those who know the dark can be sacred.

Artist Statement

Being honest even when it hurts. I want to show that imperfection has its own beauty and that the darker parts of life can be sacred. For me it is about turning wounds into symbols and silence into sound. Lazyknife is not about perfection, it is about truth.
